Week of February 23, 2015
Dear Parents,
THANK YOU: Thank you to all our parents
who sent in baked goods for the first Fish Fry. The Bake Booth was very
successful due to your efforts. We also appreciate all the parents who
volunteered to work the Fish Fry and those who attended with their families. I
hope you are all able to attend future dinners.
Here is an overview of this week:
Religion: We will be talking about ways we can pray and thank God for all he has
given us. We will be learning the story of David and how he sang his prayers.
In “Seeds” the children will recognize how they have grown and changed and that
Jesus is God’s beloved Son.
Math: We will conclude our unit on
attributes of objects.
Science: We will talk about Newts and
Night Animals.
SRA READING: Our topics will include:
Introduction of pre-decodable #11.
Restore beginning consonants to
__ig,___et, ___ip,___an.
