Week of February 16, 2015
Dear Parents,
THANK YOU: Thank you to our Room Moms and
their helpers for hosting our Valentine celebration. The children loved
receiving all of their cards. We appreciate all the parents who sent in food
and supplies.
ASH WEDNESDAY: We will be attending 11:00
Mass tomorrow, Ash Wednesday. You are welcome to sit with us during Mass.
We will continue to test the children on
beginning and ending sounds, numbers 1-30, and their sight words.
Here is an overview of this week:
Religion: We will talk about the Bible
story, “The Prodigal Son” in and be introduced to the season of Lent. In our “Seeds”
lesson we will talk about prayers and Sunday’s Gospel.
Math: We will talk about sequencing.
Science: We will talk about monkeys.
SRA READING: Topics for this week will
include the following:
