Week of January 5, 2015
Dear Parents,
I hope you had a nice Christmas break and
hope that the New Year brings happiness to you and your families.
REMINDER: FRIDAY IS A HALF DAY.
OPEN HOUSE: Sts Simon & Jude School
will be hosting their annual Open House on Sunday, January 25. We will begin to
study farm animals in preparation for this special event. I would like each
family to take their child to Centennial Farm, which is located on the grounds
of the Orange County Fair. It is open most days and there is NO admission fee.
Please take a photo of your child with one of the animals for our bulletin
board which we will have on display at Open House. Check their website for
specific hours. I would like the photo by January 23rd. Thank you.
Here is an overview of this week:
Religion: We will talk about the Holy
Family and the children will be asked to share ways their family loves and
cares for one another as the Holy family loved and cared for each another.
Math: We will order objects from largest
to smallest and guesstimate which container holds more cubes.
