Dear Parents,

 

THANK YOU: We thank Mrs. Theresa Vu for visiting our classroom and teaching us about the celebration of Tet. The children enjoyed seeing the dragon costume and all the festive decorations used to celebrate the New Year.

 

Please let me know if your child will NOT be returning to Sts. Simon & Jude School in the fall. We are in the process of accepting new Kindergarten students and would like an accurate count of TYKERS going into SSJ’s Kindergarten.

 

HALF DAY ON FRIDAY: Reminder: Friday is a half day and the students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon.

Religion: We will continue to talk about Lent, 26 Acts of Kindness and attend Stations of the Cross on Friday.

 

Animal of the Week: Monkey and Newt.

 

Nursery Rhyme: “Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater.”

 

SRA READING: We will be introducing Pre-decodable#12, the sounds of Cc, Oo, the word__can, and blending beginning consonants with endings.
