Dear Parents,
Your children are all doing very well and are adjusting to our routines and the longer day.
Here are a few reminders for this very busy first week of school.
LUNCH DUTY HELP: We need parents to help supervise the TYKE lunch period in our backyard. You would need to arrive at 11:15 and you would be leaving @ 12:30 . You would be helping Mrs. Dutton with taking the children to the bathroom, getting their lunches and assisting the children who need to pick up a hot lunch and supervising their outdoor play. At @ 12:10 I return from my lunch and you would help me take them to the bathroom again and get settled for their rest time. You would earn 1 hour and 30 minutes time for each day you sign up for. Presently, we only have help on Tuesday and Wednesday..

PLAYGROUND SET UP: We need parents to squeegee our outside tables each morning so they are clean for our snack time. You would also need to set out our hula hoops, balls, jump ropes and stompers. We will give you 30 minutes of volunteer time for each morning you sign up. You can bring your child early to help you. See me if you can help with this task.
SNACK TIME: Please make sure your child knows what food they should eat for snack and what they should save for lunch. Many of them want to eat all their food at snack and have little left for lunch.
EARLY PICKUP: I will be posting a sign up sheet on my door each morning for you to sign if you are going to pick up your child at 2:00. .
CAR POOLS: If someone other than a parent , Grandparent or nanny is picking up your child, please fill out the form which is located on my inside file cabinet. If you have introduced them to me, the form is not necessary.
HOT LUNCH: Please write your child's name on the hot lunch signup on my front door if your child will be receiving a hot lunch. Tell your child also.
MASS: We will be attending Mass at 11:00 on Friday with the rest of the student body. We sit in front on the left side and you are welcome to join us. I do expect them to sit quietly and show reverence.
LABELS: Please write you child's name clearly on their backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles, sweaters and sweatshirts.
I hope all of my new parents are coping with the parking lot traffic and paperwork of the first week. Please email me or talk to me after school if you have any concerns or problems.
