Week of April 23, 2012
Dear Parents,
ANIMAL ALPHABET: Your child’s speaking part and the words to our songs are enclosed in today’s folder. Please have them memorize their part, saying it SLOWLY AND IN A LOUD VOICE. They should also become very familiar with the lyrics to the songs. You can probably download the music. If you need any help with costumes, see me.
VOLUNTEER HOURS OPPORTUNITY: I need a parent to type up our play program. I have several samples available and your hours can probably be applied towards next year. See me if you are interested in this project.
RETREAT: Friday is our school-wide retreat. Our theme is “Family” and we will be spending most of the day with our “School Families.” making a group “quilt”, singing, attending morning Mass and enjoying a pizza lunch. Please note that all of the students will have Free Dress for the day, (Please refer to the School Handbook online, concerning guidelines for Free Dress.)
The day will end with a prayer service. The children are looking forward to a very special day.
