Week of April 30,2012

Dear Parents,

YEAR BOOK: The TYKERS are in the SSJ Yearbook! If you would like to purchase one, read the SSJ webpage. You will find all the details there, as well as the deadline for orders.

HALF DAY REMINDER: Friday is a half day. All students will be dismissed at 12 noon.

ANIMAL ALPHABET: Please have your child practice saying their lines SLOWLY and in a LOUD voice. See me if you still need ideas for costumes. Remember, our performance will be on Friday, June 1, at 9:00. The children will need to come in costume that day at their regular time (7:45) so they can have their faces painted.

Here is an overview of this week:

        Religion: We will be talking about the Holy Family.

        Animal of the Week: Rhino and Quail.

        Math: We will continue with simple addition.

SRA READING: We will be introducing the High Frequency Word___with , and adding beginning consonants to_____an and ____at.
