Dear Parents,
I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving break.
THANK YOU: Thank you to our Room Mom, Heather Akoubian and her helpers who hosted our Thanksgiving Celebration. The children had a wonderful time making their placemats and enjoying the food. We appreciate all the parents who sent in food and supplies also.
Here is an overview of this week:
Religion: We will be talking about the meaning of Advent and
“lighting” our Advent Wreath each day.
Nursery Rhyme: “Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary.”
Animal of the Week: Goose
Social Studies: We will continue to talk about the people of
Plymouth.
SRA READING: We will be introducing the High Frequency Word-___is this week as well as the next pre-decodable. Please have your child read their sight words from flash cards each day.
SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PLAY: The TYKE students will be part of the SSJ Christmas Play. We have some costumes but MAY need to have more made or some hemmed. If you would be able to sew angel costumes, please let me know. I have one to show you if you are interested.
Have a great week!
