Week of November 14, 2011
Dear Parents,
I enjoyed meeting all of you last week and learning more about your children. I appreciate all your positive feedback regarding the TYKE program. If you or your child have any questions or concerns about our class, please do not hesitate to talk to me after class or email me.
AUCTION: The SSJ auction is this Saturday! I hope you are all planning to attend or support it by buying raffle tickets which are available in the accounting office. You can check the school website to see what items are available for bid online or the night of the auction. It is always a fun evening for the parents.
Here is an overview of this week
Religion: Our topic will be “God Made You.”
Nursery Rhyme: “Hey Diddle Diddle.”
Social Studies: We will continue to talk about the Pilgrim’s life in
Plymouth and the first Thanksgiving.
We will also talk about the country of Australia.
SRA READING: We will talk about the letters Ss,Tt, Uu, Vv, and Ww. We will also introduce pre-decodable #6.
