Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe this is my last letter to you! This first
year is very special and it has been my privilege to teach your children and
welcome them into the Sts. Simon & Jude School community. They are a very
special class and I know they will all remain friends throughout their years at
SSJ. They have made so much progress in all areas, and I loved coming to class
each day.
I would like to thank Teri Thies for being our Room Mom this year,
and for hosting all of our special celebrations. The children and I enjoyed
every one of them!
I would also like to thank Cristina Botas. She came every Tuesday to teach the children
Spanish and tell them about the culture and customs of Mexico. Being able to sing a song in Spanish at our
play was great. We enjoyed all the
special treats she brought in also.
I appreciate all the support and help you have given me this year
and hope you have a wonderful and relaxing summer.
THURSDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL AND WE WILL BE ATTENDING 8:15 MASS
WITH THE REST OF THE STUDENT BODY. THE
CHILDREN WILL BE DISMISSED FROM THE CLASSROOM AT 11: 00. THERE IS NO STAY CARE
THAT DAY, SO PLEASE PICK UP YOUR CHILD PROMPTLY.
Love,
Edde Chalk
