Dear Parents,

 

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART: TYKE students WILL be participating in “Jump Rope for Heart” on October 24. Read more about this event on the school website.

 

 FAMILY PHOTO: If you have not done so already, please send in a Family photo so EVERY child is represented on our Family Bulletin Board.

 

AUCTION: Please consider attending the SSJ Auction. You can request It is a great evening and a wonderful way to meet other SSJ parents.

 

SCHOOL PICTURES: If you are not happy with your child’s school picture, you may have a retake on picture make-up day. Your child must return their pictures on that day. Check the school website for the date.

 

Here is an overview of this week:

 

Religion: We will be talking about ways we can show kindness to others.

When we are kind to one another, we are being good friends of Jesus.

 

Animal of the Week: Deer.

 

Math: We will count out cubes to match numbers.

 

SRA READING: We will be introducing pre-decodable #2.

We will be stepping the number of words in a sentence and learning the meaning of the term, “characters,” in a story.
