Week of October 28,2012

Dear Parents,

REMINDER: There is NO SCHOOL on Friday due to a teachers’ in-service. STAY CARE WILL BE CLOSED.

MASS: We will be attending 11:00 Mass on Thursday with the rest of the student body. Parents are welcome to join us.

HALLOWEEN PARTY: We will be having our Halloween Party on Wednesday. Children DO NOT wear their costumes.

SNACKS: Please keep Halloween candy at home. Do not send it to school for your child’s snack or lunch.

E-Mail: Be sure our Room Mom, Mrs. Botas, has your email so we can contact you about events happening at school(e.g free dress day.)

Here is an overview of this week:

Religion: We will be talking about God’s gift of me.

Math: We will review geometric solids; cubes, spheres, cylinders and cones. We will also start to talk about the concept of time.

Animal of the Week: Frog and goose.

SRA Reading: We will be introducing the word____in. We will also be talking about the letters H, J, K and L.  A predecodable will be coming home today.
