Week of February 6,2012
Dear Parents,
VALENTINES: Our Valentine Party is coming up soon! We will be exchanging valentines in our class. Please have your child sign 25 valentines. (the number of children in our class). Do not have them write names on the envelopes. That way they can just drop them in each child’s valentine’s bag.
MONDAYS: I will be helping out with the “Game Club” which starts immediately after school on Mondays. Please be sure you pick your child up at 2:50. Otherwise I will have to send them to Stay Care.
FISH FRY VOLUNTEERS: The Fish Fry committee needs volunteers for our Lenten Fish Fries, which are held every Friday during Lent. You do not have to commit to every Friday. This project will count towards your service hours.
SSJ FAMILIES: TYKE students will be meeting their SSJ Family on February 14. The children are looking forward to becoming part of a “family” here at SSJ and the various activities they will be attending with them.

Jesus.
Animal of the Week: Hippo
SRA Reading: We will be talking about the letter and sound of Cc and Bb.
