Dear Parents,

It was so nice to see all of you at Open House. It is a very special day for the children and they love showing you their classroom and their work.

THANK YOU: Thank you to Mrs. Theresa Vu, a former TYKE Mom, who spoke to the class last Monday, the first day of the Lunar New Year (Tet). The children enjoyed seeing all the beautiful decorations she shared with us. It was fun watching their classmates wear the Dragon costume. We appreciate the “red envelopes” she gave to each of the children.

Here is an overview of this week:

          Religion: Topic: “Our Friends Help Us to Discover God's World.”

          Animal of the Week: We will be finishing up farm animals.

SRA READING: We will be introducing the next High Frequency Word____have, and adding beginning consonants to ___ip. Please continue to have your child practice the adding sounds to the other endings also. They are _at,__an__ug, and __ig.

REMINDER:  This Friday Catholic schools week will conclude with a Student Mass at 11:00am.  Friday is also a half day and all students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon.  Stay Care will be available.
