Week of May 12, 2014

Dear Parents,

STAY CARE: Stay Care will be available the entire summer if your child is enrolled in “Fit Camp” or “Sonshine Summer,” (the Vacation Bible School offered by the parish). Read the school website to find out more information.

Here is an overview of this week:

Religion: We will talk about Holy Communion, and continue to talk about Mary.

Math : We will continue to work on addition facts, using manipulatives and the Smart Board.

Animal of the Week: Quail and the Rhino.

SRA READING: We will be taking about the letter and sound of Ww and reviewing all of our other sounds. We will be writing sentences using our sight words. I encourage you to have your child think of sentences at home using as many of their sight words as they can. I will be asking them to write the beginning sound letter of words I dictate to them also.
