Dear Parents,

 

CHRISTMAS PLAY: Some of the children have been given their costumes already because they have to be shortened. I will be giving out the rest of the costumes this week. Please iron them and send your child dressed in their costume and halo the night of the performance. Your child will need to be in the classroom by 6:00 because we will be collecting donations in the church foyer before the start of the performance, which is at 7:00. Please make sure your child eats a good dinner and uses the bathroom before they come to school. We will be singing at the very end of the program, and then we will return to the classroom. Please have your child leave their costume in the classroom before they leave. We will be practicing in the church every afternoon next week, so please plan to pick your child up at 2:50 .

MASS: We will be joining the rest of the Student Body at 8:15 Mass on Thursday morning to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. You are welcome to join us.

Here is an overview of the week:

Religion: We will be talking about Christmas and Advent.

Math: We will be testing the children on recognition of numbers 1-20’

Animal of the Week: Geese and Hippos.

SRA READING: We will be introducing the word___on, and the letters Qq, Rr, Ss and Tt. Our new unit is on Community Helpers.
