Dear Parents,
THANK YOU: Thank you to all the parents who helped staff the Fish Fry and Bake Booth and who sent in baked goods. It was a great evening and very successful! We appreciate all the families that enjoyed the fish dinner too.
REMINDER: Friday is a half day. Students will be dismissed at 12 noon.
PHYLUM PHASION SHOW: TYKE students will be attending the Phylum Phasion Show on Tuesday. This annual event is put on by our 7th grade students and is delightful.
TRAVELING SCIENTIST: The “Traveling Scientist” will be visiting our classroom on Friday. She will be bringing several live mammals. If your child has any allergies or fears of animals, please let me know.
DR. SEUSS: The third grade students will be visiting us on Friday also and reading us Dr. Seuss stories.
Here is an overview of this week:
Religion: Our topic will be the Holy Family.
Animal of the Week: Kangaroo and lion.
SRA READING: We will be introducing the letters and sounds of Jj and Ff. We will be adding beginning consonants to ___ay.
Please continue to have your child read their sight words every day and match pictures to the correct beginning sound.
