Good Afternoon Parents'
We ended our first all day with the TYKERS. (Only 3 fell sound asleep during rest time!)
I have several requests:
Please fill out a permission slip for your child if they are going home with someone who is not on your emergency card. Slips are located on the file cabinet inside my door.
Write your child's name on the outside board if they will be receiving a hot lunch.
Make sure your child's snack is in a bag labeled snack and point it out to them.
If you have folders or any notes you would like me to read, please hand them to me or my assistants. We do not check their backpacks each day.
Their nap blanket and pillow need to fit in their backpack. Please help them learn to fold it and put it in the backpack themselves. We do not have room to store them in the classroom.
Our mats will be arriving next week.
We need parents to wash our tables and set out our tricycles in the back yard in the morning. This can be done anytime between 7:30 and 8:30.
We cut out shapes today with our art teacher. Please have your child practice cutting at home. It is a skill that requires a lot of practice.
We are all adjusting to our new schedule and making new friends.We will be having an earthquake and fire drill this week. Please let me know if you think this activity will be stressful for your child.
